How do I create pre-written text messages?

Pre-written text messages are available from a dropdown menu when a team member is sending a text to a customer.

Auto-reply messages are automatic texts that are sent as a response to an incoming text that includes a Short Code.  When a store customer sends a Short Code to the store's text number, the customer automatically receives that specific auto-reply message.  

One special Short Code that has an additional feature is "DONATE".  When a customer texts the store "DONATE" it will send the auto-reply associated with the "DONATE" text. ResaleAI will also automatically create a Task on Today's Tasks List that says to donate that specific all pass buy, with the customer's name and buy transaction label listed in the task. 

Adding a Pre-written Text Message

  1. Open a web browser, go to Resaleai.com and log in with an owner or manager account
  2. Go to the Settings screen by clicking the  icon on the top right and choose Settings.
  3. Click the Texting icon  on the menu on the left to come to the Pre-written Messages screen.
  4. Under the Pre-written Messages heading, type a title in the Title box. The Title will be displayed in the dropdown menu when a team member is choosing the text message to send. Then type a message in the first Message box. If you want a second message sent, type it in the bottom Message box.
  5. Click Add, and YOU'RE DONE!

Adding an Auto-reply Message with a Short Code

  1. Open a web browser, go to app.resaleai.com and log in with an owner or manager account
  2. Go to the Settings screen by clicking the icon on the top right and choose Settings.
  3. Click the Texting icon  on the menu on the left to come to the Pre-written Messages screen.
  4. Under the Auto-reply Messages Heading, type in a Short Code and a Reply Message in the labeled boxes. See the note above about the DONATE short code.
  5. Click the Add button and YOU'RE DONE.

Editing Pre-written Messages and Auto-reply Messages

  1. Open a web browser, go to Resaleai.com and log in with an owner or manager account
  2. Go to the Settings screen by clicking the  icon on the top right and choose Settings.
  3. Click the Texting icon  on the menu on the left to come to the Pre-written Messages screen.
  4. On the line of the Message that you want to edit, click the Edit button and make your changes to the text.
  5. Click the Green Edit button and YOU'RE DONE.
