We noticed that many of our customers have a task on their opening or closing checklist to email the Day Close file from DRS to key people in the organization. ResaleAI can do that for you automatically! Your email will also include other activity from the day - any new staff notes added to the Day Book, any Bins that were pulled, and the Sales, Average Transaction, and Trade Percentage - in the body of the email.
Note: The Day Close Email Delivery Service requires integration with DRS. If your store has not activated DRS integration, the button to start the nightly email will not appear. To integrate DRS, see the article Integrate DRS with ResaleAI.
Start the Day Close Email Delivery Service
- Open a web browser and go to app.resaleai.com
- Click the Navigation icon in the upper left corner to choose the Settings screen.
- Click the Day Close Email Delivery Service button.
- Follow the instructions to send emails to your team by the roles defined by ResaleAI User Accounts and/or by specific email addresses. You can come back and add or remove email addresses any time. Just keep them separated by commas.
- You're done!! But, you might want to remove that "send nightly email" from your Closing checklist.
